Rick is a self-proclaimed “reformed lawyer” who has been a serial entrepreneur for 25 years. During his career as both a CFO and CEO of public and private companies, Rick has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, public and private corporate finance, financial management, marketing, sales and operations of technology, health care, manufacturing and real estate businesses. In addition to his role with Evergreen, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of The Cornerstone Professional Group, LLC and StarQuartz Industries, Inc. Included in his entrepreneurial finance experience are two IPO’s (Sequoia Software and TheraTx), an MBO from Loral Corporation and M&A transactions involving Citrix Systems and Viacom, in addition to private equity transactions with Warburg Pincus, Baker Capital, Core Capital and Anthem Capital. Rick began his professional career at Baltimore law firm, Gebhardt & Smith where he eventually became a partner and practiced commercial banking law with specialties in real estate and telecommunications.
Rick’s charitable organization involvement includes being a member of the Boards of Directors of Antioch Network of Phoenix, AR and Norlink International of Baltimore, as well as being an Elder at Grace Fellowship Church in Timonium, MD. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Towson University, and both an MBA and JD from University of Baltimore.
Currently the CEO of Corridor Reznick LLC, Neil is celebrating his 25th year in the commercial real estate business. In 1989 Neil founded Corridor Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. Neil was responsible for running the day to day operations at Corridor from 1989 until May, 2003. Recently, as CEO, Neil has taken on a more strategic, visionary role with the firm to help build the company’s presence both locally and nationally. An accomplished, top tier broker, Neil has leased and sold millions of square of feet of commercial property and has represented a multitude of companies throughout the region. Neil is also recognized as a leading investment sales specialist in the industry. Neil is generous with his time and his connections, having served on over 15 boards as a member, chair or president. Neil has a desire to see other businesses reach their potential.
Charlie began his career as a CPA in a public accounting firm in 1982 and for over 15 years has been Managing Director and Partner for accounting, audit and consulting services firms. He also provides clients with litigation support in connection with commercial litigation in matters of valuation, lost-profits, shareholder disputes and other matters. Charlie regularly consults with clients regarding divestitures, acquisitions and mergers conducting both strategic and fair market value engagements.
Charlie is a Certified Business Appraiser through The Institute of Business Appraisers and is certified in Mergers and Acquisitions through the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. He also serves as Chairman and Member of Accounting Advisory Board for Loyola College of Maryland and is a member of the Sellinger School of Business Board of Sponsors.
Paul was the President/CEO and founder of In Vitro Technologies, Inc. (IVT), a bioscience company that provides products and services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. After relocating to Baltimore in 1991, In Vitro grew from two employees to a staff of 70, including several employees in Europe. The company also expanded its international business to Japan, the U.K., and Germany, while bringing the products of international companies to their North American customers through strategic alliances and distribution relationships. After growing the company to 60 employees and $11M in revenues, he successfully sold the company to Celsis plc in 2006 for $30M.
Dr. Silber has an undergraduate degree in Biology (Carleton College), a Master’s degree in Public Health (Univ. Alabama) and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology (Univ. Arizona). He is the holder of two patents and the recipient of various business awards and recognition, including:

Dr. Silber currently Chairs the GBTC Biotech Roundtable. In addition, he serves on the boards of the Biotechnical Institute of Maryland, the TechCenter at UMBC Business Advisory Board, and the Dean’s advisory board of the UMBC College of Natural Sciences. He is also a member of the Maryland/Israel Development Center Life Science Committee. He is also an active mentor of other local entrepreneurs and is a member of the Chesapeake Emerging Opportunity (Angel) Fund.
Ed Sim is a founding member and Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures, which was established in 1998. Mr. Sim's venture capital career began in 1996 with Prospect Street Ventures, a New York based venture capital firm, where he worked on software and technology investments such as 24/7 Media (Nasdaq: TFSM). Prior to joining Prospect Street, Mr. Sim worked with J.P. Morgan's Structured Derivatives Group on the development of a real-time trading application for global asset allocation. Mr. Sim graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and holds the CFA designation.
Mr. Sim currently serves as a Director of DeepNines Technologies, Answers Corporation (IPO, Nasdaq: ANSW), netForensics, and Gizmo5. Mr. Sim is a former Director of Greenplum, GoToMyPC (acquired by Citrix, Nasdaq: CTXS), LivePerson (IPO, Nasdaq: LPSN), Moreover Technologies (acquired by VeriSign, Nasdaq: VRSN) and Flashbase (acquired by DoubleClick).
